Daniel A. Martinez

Mr. Martinez was elected a director of the Bank in 2010 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board.  Daniel A. Martinez is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. Mr. Martinez is a retired Senior Vice President of Georgia Pacific Corporation retiring in 1992.  He served as a fulltime Consultant for Georgia Pacific Corporation from 1992 to 1995.  Mr. Martinez served as a Board Director of the Atlantic National Bank of Palatka, Florida, Inc. from 1980 to 1987.  Since 1987 Mr. Martinez has served for 11 years as an Advisory Director of the First Union Bank and has served for 12 years as an Advisory Director of Capital City Bank in Putnam-St. Johns Counties. Mr. Martinez is currently President of the Rodeheaver Foundation Board of Trustees, Trustee Emeritus of the University of North Florida Foundation, Executive Committee member of the St. Johns River Community College Foundation and Past President and member of the Rotary Club of Palatka. Mr. Martinez served on the Board of Governors for the St. Johns River Water Management District and is Past President of the following organizations: Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, Rodeheaver Boys Ranch, Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka Housing Authority and Putnam County Nursing Home Authority. He has also served as a Director of ARC, member of the Executive Committee of North Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America, a member of the Executive Committee of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and past member of the Executive Board of the St. Augustine Technical Center.
